Consnet implements the SAP Sales Cloud solution with Perfect Store Execution in just 3 months.

DGB is one of South Africa’s largest independent wine and spirit producers and distributors.

DGB faced several challenges ranging from a lack of accurate reporting, integration of master data across platforms, timely placing of orders, missing data from surveys, and lengthy times to add new customers. They needed a solution that will help with improving product visibility in stores and ensuring perfect store execution by sales reps.

Managing a large team of salespeople needs a system that will integrate all business functions and Processes in real-time. Data must be turned into actionable insights which will increase employee productivity and enable business decisions based on reporting data. Consnet implemented the SAP Sales Cloud Retail Execution (ReX) solution for DGB which increased productivity for the sales team and helped drive up revenue.

The SAP Sales cloud ReX Solution was a first of its kind in South Africa and a first for Consnet and DGB Within just 3 months the team managed to finish the high-level design, application setup (C4C, SCC & CPI), solution build and UAT for the solution which was to be used by 68 SalesReps & Sales Managers.


Inside the first couple of days more than 1,000 visits have been completed of which 946 was recorded as Perfect Store visits (measuring KPIs and store performance).

A multitude of orders have been captured successfully by the Sales Reps and routed to the Call Center via SAP Sales cloud, with full sales order integration to be done in phase 2.

Sales Managers now have a view of their Sales Rep’s movements for a day and will be able to track their visits and perfect store execution.

This will help them drive the desired behavior and realize the benefits of implementing SAP Sales cloud Retail Execution solution.
